Once primed, the pump can be turned on and off without the need for re-priming as long as water remains in the suction line. Inadequate plumbing setups can result in pump failure or damage, making this kit a crucial accessory.
The Pondless® Waterfall Vault is equipped with a 3″ swing check valve to provide suction intake for the EXT Pump, while the 3″ union connection and 3″ liner flange allow for easy maintenance and disguising of plumbing transitions. The pump also features a 3″ van stone flange connection for intake and a 2″ van stone flange connection for discharge, as well as a 2″ priming port and ball valve for smooth initial starting. A 2″ to 3″ bushing is included for underground connection to 3″ Aquascape Flexible PVC pipe. PVC pipe must be purchased separately.
